1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide analytics, and remember your preferences. The Opendio platform uses cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage) to deliver a secure and personalized experience.

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If we introduce them in the future, this policy will be updated and your consent will be required.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by third-party services that we use to provide certain features:
- Supabase: Authentication and session management cookies. Subject to Supabase Privacy Policy.
- Vercel: Hosting and analytics. Subject to Vercel Privacy Policy.
4. Managing Cookies
On Opendio
When you first visit Opendio, a cookie consent banner allows you to accept or manage your cookie preferences. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer of any page.
In Your Browser
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:
- View and delete existing cookies
- Block cookies from specific or all websites
- Set preferences for first-party vs. third-party cookies
- Enable "Do Not Track" signals
Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent you from using certain features of the Service, such as logging in or maintaining your session.
5. Local Storage and Similar Technologies
In addition to cookies, we use browser localStorage and sessionStorage for:
- Caching user preferences for faster page loads
- Storing draft Open-To States while editing
- Push notification subscription data
- Offline-capable features via service worker cache
localStorage data persists until you clear it or delete your browser data. sessionStorage data is cleared when you close the browser tab.
6. Do Not Track
Opendio respects "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals. When we detect a DNT signal, we disable all non-essential tracking and analytics cookies. Essential cookies required for the Service to function will still be used.
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable regulations. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the cookie consent banner or email notification.
